Houdini Llewellin Setters - Bird Hunting Dogs

Randy Herman & Julia Orr together with Greg & Carla Fryar purchased Houdini Kennels in 2005.

Since the purchase we have made sure each dog we plan to breed has passed several health clearances so we are breeding only the best dogs to produce the best possible puppies and continue the Houdini Legacy, producing the same "high quality" hunting/home companions that have been produced in the past. We want to thank all of our customers and the good friends we have already made.

About Us:

Randy & Julia own and operate a small hunting preserve and dog training facility (R & J’s Rooster Ranch) just south of Mpls, MN and personally currently own 5 Llewellin Setters, 2 Chocolate Labs and 1 small house dog. Randy runs the Rooster Ranch and works for a small company as the Operations Manager while Julia who is a school teacher helps take care of all the adult dogs and raise the puppies.

Greg & Carla own and operate (High Fly’n Kennels) located just south of Mpls, MN. Greg is a full time dog trainer and handler training from Jan thru Oct with time off to hunt. Carla owns and operates 10 hair salons while helping with all the breeding, whelping and puppies raising to go home age. They personally own 8 Llewellin Setters and 3 Golden Retrievers.

All 4 of us are avid bird hunters, and love to trial our dog's watching these dogs do what they are bred to do! They are wonderful dogs both as hunting partners and as pets! To learn more about all of us please see our other website pages.
